PARIS — L’Oréal has created a new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, called L’Oréal KSA, through a joint venture with the Al Naghi Group.

The French beauty giant has been in the kingdom for 30 years, and in 2000 it signed Al Naghi Group on to be its distributor for L’Oréal’s Consumer Products, Active Cosmetics and Professional Products divisions.

The new subsidiary’s brand portfolio includes L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York and Vichy.

“L’Oréal KSA’s scope will include implementing best practices on developing the local market, increasing consumer proximity to better understand the Saudi woman’s needs, ensuring greater reach for the group’s products to more Saudi consumers and a commitment to training, education and nurturing local talent within the L’Oréal KSA team,” L’Oréal said in a statement.
