Vera Bradley and Macy’s have teamed up to support the WIN organization, which seeks to break the cycle of homelessness for women and their children in New York City.

The companies have begun offering a limited-edition trimmed reversible Vera Bradley tote, priced $88, in advance of Mother’s Day. It’s quilted and reversible, comes in three colors, and is designed with a slip pocket, a zip pocket, double handles and a magnetic snap closure. All proceeds go to WIN. Forty Macy stores in the New York metro area,, and select Vera Bradley stores sell the tote.

“For over 30 years, WIN and Vera Bradley have been bringing solutions to women,” said Vera Bradley cofounder Barbara Bradley Baekgaard. “In New York City, an astonishing 80 percent of the homeless are women and families who share the same goals, hopes and aspirations as we all do.”

Christine Quinn, WIN’s president and chief executive, added, “This limited-edition Mother’s Day tote raises awareness of the crisis of homelessness for women and their children.”
