Mōd Advisors, a boutique consulting firm headed by former L Brands executive Ken Hewes, has joined The O Alliance consulting firm.

The company is comprised of a group of retail and fashion experts who have helped build brands including Victoria’s Secret, Coach and Nike as well as emerging concepts including Boot Barn.

“As part of our commitment to unlock the greatest value for our clients, we are building the strongest network of experts to address each company’s specific needs while helping them move from a channel-centric to a circular, customer-centric operation,” said Andrea Weiss, cofounder of The O Alliance.

As a member of The O Alliance, Mōd will lend it expertise in business growth, brand development and brand delivery in areas such as merchandising, marketing, in-store customer engagement, product development and real estate management and gain access to expertise in areas including store design, talent, in-store technology, e-commerce and digital social marketing from other O Alliance members, including Multimedia Plus, Crayon Data, JGA and Splashlight.

“I’ve seen firsthand that many of today’s retailers remain unprepared to address consumers’ escalating expectations, and a need to help them align their strategy and operations accordingly,” said Hewes, adding that the firm’s involvement with O Alliance will serve its commitment “to helping companies understand this new consumer mind-set and how to implement the right change.”

Hewes previously served as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
