Neiman Marcus Group has named Geoffroy van Raemdonck as chief executive officer, succeeding Karen Katz.

Katz will retire from her roles as president and ceo on Feb. 12, but will remain on the board. Van Raemdonck was formerly group president at Ralph Lauren Corp. for the Middle East, Europe and Africa, as well as global travel retail. Earlier, he was ceo at St. John Knits and held executive slots at Louis Vuitton.
