Nickelson Wooster has been named men’s fashion director of Neiman Marcus Inc.

Wooster, whose résumé includes Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Polo and Calvin Klein, will oversee Neiman Marcus Stores, Neiman Marcus Direct and Bergdorf Goodman. He succeeds Tommy Fazio, who left the company in September to join Spurr as president.
Wooster started his career at Barneys New York in 1987 as a buyer and joined Bergdorf Goodman, where he remained through 1993. At that point, he joined Calvin Klein as general merchandise manager/director of retail for two years. He then joined Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. as design director of special projects, and has also been president of John Bartlett. Since 2007, he has been president and director of creative services for Splendid/Ella Moss.
He will report to Ken Downing, senior vice president and fashion director.
