Starting later this month, shoppers will be able to buy Neiman Marcus items through “buyable pins” across Pinterest including the Neiman’s Pinterest page at

“Millions of pins on Pinterest will now become buyable, offering a simple and secure way for customers to buy their favorite finds,” the company said Tuesday. The majority of Neiman’s pins are from and the remainder are from the retailer’s Pinterest profile.

The company indicated that with a few taps on any iOS-enabled device, a customer can buy the products he or she has pinned or discovered, from the “buy” button on top of the pin.

The exact date for the launch of the service, which will be offered only in the U.S., has yet to be determined. The Neiman Marcus Group operates Neiman Marcus as well as Bergdorf Goodman, but only Neiman’s will have the buyable pins at this time.

“We know that Pinterest is one of our customers’ favorite ways to engage with our brand. Giving her the ability to purchase a product, as she discovers and is inspired by it, only enhances her shopping experience,” said Wanda Gierhart, chief marketing officer of the Neiman Marcus Group.
