The Neiman Marcus Group has named Carrie M. Fisher senior vice president and chief marketing officer, succeeding Wanda Gierhart, who left the company a few months ago.
Fisher, who was senior vice president, chief marketing officer and head of e-commerce at Fossil, will join Neiman’s on Oct.3.
At the Dallas-based Neiman’s, Fisher will be responsible for the NMG marketing and creative organization for Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Last Call.
She will report to Karen Katz, president and chief executive officer of NMG. Katz cited Fisher’s “extensive background in traditional and digital marketing and brand management.”
Prior to Fossil, Fisher worked at Travelocity, Dean Foods, Bain & Company and TXU Energy.
