PARIS — Nocibé — the French perfumery chain acquired by Douglas Group earlier this year — said Wednesday it is integrating 43 franchised Douglas perfumeries formerly run by the company Clin d’Oeil.
The deal is awaiting a go-ahead from France’s competition authority.
Concurrently, Nocibé signed an accord to sell 13 stores to the Athénaïs company, which is owned by Groupe Jacques Bogart. It operates 10 perfumeries in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur and Gard regions of France and abroad.
“With these two operations, Nocibé is firmly the number-one selective perfumery in France, with more than 600 stores of which almost 500 are wholly owned,” the company stated.
