Nordstrom Inc. has named Anne Bramman, an experienced financial executive across different industries, as its new chief financial officer, effective June 2.
Blake Nordstrom, copresident of Nordstrom Inc., said the company conducted a thorough search and Bramman’s “breadth of financial expertise and background as a strong business leader will serve us well as we continue to invest in our growth strategy.”
She was with Avery Dennison Corp., serving as senior vice president and cfo since 2015. Earlier, she was cfo at Carnival Cruise Line and prior to that cfo at Henri Bendel, a division of L Brands Inc. Nordstrom said Bramman will focus on “driving productivity and supporting Nordstrom’s continued growth.”
She succeeds Mike Koppel, who retired May 1 after 16 years with the Seattle-based retailer. Koppel continues as a consultant and adviser to Nordstrom through the end of the year.
