Nordstrom Inc. will open its second full-line store in Connecticut, in a new regional shopping center in Norwalk being developed by General Growth Properties. The three-level, 150,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2018.
Nordstrom’s first Connecticut store opened in 1997 near Hartford at the Westfarms Mall in Farmington. Nordstrom will anchor GGP’s 700,000-square-foot-plus enclosed regional retail center, located just off I-95 at the intersection of West Avenue and North Water Street in the Reed Putnam Urban Renewal area. Nordstrom operates 116 full-line stores.
