Paul Rosengard has joined Anatwine, a global online fashion network based in London, as president of its North American business.
Rosengard was most recently chief executive officer of Boston Traders. Before that he was division president of Li & Fung North America and group president at Perry Ellis International. He will be based in Anatwine’s newly opened New York office and will be charged with increasing the company’s reach in the North American market. This is Anatwine’s first international office.
“Omnichannel shopping has meant that the quality of the overall customer experience, from online product availability to delivery, now dictates success or failure in online fashion retail,” Rosengard said. “The seamless way in which Anatwine connects brands and retailers, allowing them to deliver the perfect stock mix to their customers, is nothing short of transformational and as a platform, a service and a network, it is the ultimate retail engine. I couldn’t be more excited than to place the next phase of my career at the burgeoning intersection of technology and fashion. And I look forward to working with Anatwine’s global sales director Matthew Purt and to building a U.S. team to launch this exciting online fashion network here in the U.S.”
Anatwine was founded in 2014 by Chris Griffin and connects brands and retailers through a single integrated system that optimizes the optimal online mix. It has worked with retailers and brands including House of Fraser, Zalando, La Redoute, Galeries Lafayette, Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Reebok, G-Star and Superdry.
Griffin, chief executive officer, said Anatwine’s goal is “to fundamentally transform the fashion retail model across the world, and in this regard North America is a market of significant importance.”
