Prada has unveiled a new store concept.
Created by the combination of modular elements which can be interchanged to showcase different types of products, the setup first appeared at the brand’s Monte Carlo boutique and at Prada’s space dedicated to leather goods and accessories inside London’s Harrods department store.
The special concept features walls covered with graphic motifs reproducing the works of 18th century’s Italian engraver Giovanni Battista Piranesi, as well as velvet seats by Osvaldo Borsani and a carpet showing a damier pattern.
In the Harrods shops-in-shop, a selection of exclusive women’s accessories is displayed on multicolor velvet trays placed on crystal and steel counters, while a video-wall located at the entrance of the Monte Carlo boutique welcomes customers with videos on special projects and current collections.
