DUBAI — Rag & Bone has entered the Middle East market with its first stand-alone store in Dubai that opened this week at City Walk, an outdoor concept mall.
“Dubai is an exciting, cosmopolitan destination with a global consumer base so it is a market we are very excited to enter into,” said David Neville, Rag & Bone cochief executive officer.
The store, which is spread across 1,284 square feet, offers women’s ready-to-wear, jeans, accessories and footwear. The interior of the boutique reflects the brand’s modern, industrial aesthetic, while fixtures were produced in the UAE to incorporate a Middle Eastern influence. Design elements include oriental rugs, a custom steel and glass facade, and black wrought iron and glass shelving unit.
The brand has partnered with Al Tayer Group, one of the region’s largest retailers who also own and operate Bloomingdale’s. Contemporary brands are a major growth area in Dubai, which is already saturated with top-tier luxury.
The Al Tayer Group also recently added Vince into its portfolio of brands, opening two stores in February.
