A Maris Collective store.

Seaside Luxe is rebranding and embarking on a major expansion.

The Los Angeles-based retailer, which operates boutiques at some of the finest luxury hotels around the world, is this week being renamed Maris Collective. And the plan is to open 70 locations over the next five years in international locations such as St. Barth’s, Bahrain, Doha, Bora Bora and Turkey, as well as travel destinations in the U.S. including Oahu, Hawaii; Houston, and Scottsdale, Ariz.

Maris Collective operates 24 stores in 10 luxury hotels and resorts around the world. It was founded by Lee Ann Sauter, whose background includes Guess, Gap and Tommy Hilfiger.

“Since launching our first store, we have worked to bring our customers a fresh selection of well-loved brands mixed with new discoveries from designers and artisans around the world,” said Sauter. The stores offer women’s fashion and jewelry and men’s and women’s casual and beachwear from emerging designers as well as established brands such as Aquazzura, Missoni and Valentino. The stores also carry vacation essentials and sundries.

Each boutique is designed to reflect the destination in which it operates and offers furnishings, wallpaper and locally sourced items such as Turkish textiles from Istanbul’s famed bazaars, and indigenous beauty products.

The shops are themed as well and include beach, country, city and mountain. There are also golf, tennis and spa retail experiences offered at some locations.

This year, Maris Collective will open boutiques at nearly 10 new properties including the Canyon Ranch’s first international location in the Kaplankaya development on the Turkish Riviera, near the city of Bodrum. Four stores will open there in July and will include lifestyle, beach and artisanal shops as well as a store inspired by the Cinquante Cinq Club in St. Tropez.

The lifestyle and beach shops will offer men’s and women’s wear from Zero + Maria Cornejo, Jean Paul Gautier, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Kimberly McDonald and 10 Crosby. The artisanal store will offer handcrafted objects, artwork and antiques.

Maris Collective will also open two stores at the soon-to-be-completed Four Seasons Hotel Ko Olina on Oahu. The first, Caprice, will offer Céline eyewear, Hartford, Frank & Eileen, La Perla Swim and Sheryl Lowe, and Wili Wili will offer locally sourced confections and beach essentials.

Other locations include VieVage Chileno Bay in Los Cabos in Mexico and the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay in Manama.
