Seize sur Vingt will combine its two existing stores in Nolita into a new flagship in Soho. The 4,000-square-foot unit at 78 Greene Street is expected to open sometime next month and will incorporate both the Seize dur Vingt and Groupe 16sur20 stores on Elizabeth Street, according to Robert K. Futterman & Associates, the real estate firm that secured the new location.
“Seize sur Vingt has a strong consumer following in SoHo,” said Futterman’s senior director Robin Zendell. “Current market conditions presented a great opportunity to relocate and open a flagship location to better serve its customers.”
The new store is located between Spring and Broome Streets and will join other retailers including John Varvatos, Hastens, Nicole Miller, J. Lindeberg and Kiki De Montparnasse.
Seize sur Vingt also has a boutique at The Plaza Hotel.
The company was founded in 1998 by James and Gwendolyn Jurney and built its reputation offering finely tailored clothing and furnishings for men and women. Groupe 16sur20 opened in 2005 and offers an assortment of new designers and labels including Troglodyte Homunculus, Wolf-Rayet, and United Boroughs.
