LONDON — Fashion consultant Yasmin Sewell said she has departed from her role as chief creative consultant at London department store Liberty.
A spokeswoman for Liberty said that Sewell’s duties would now be covered by managing director Ed Burstell and Liberty’s existing team.
Sewell had served in the role, which involved spearheading the reinvention of Liberty’s fashion and accessories offer, since 2007. Sewell had overseen the introduction of labels such as Balmain, Acne, Christopher Kane and Michael Van Der Ham to the store, alongside refreshing the store’s environment.
Earlier this year, Liberty was purchased by BlueGem Capital Partners LLP for 32 million pounds, or $49.7 million at current exchange, as reported.
