Ted Baker London is expanding into Seattle.
The brand will open what it is billing “a high tea-inspired store” at Bellevue Square on March 4.
With a tongue-in-cheek tweak at the city for its love of coffee, the 2,960-square-foot Ted Baker store will be designed to replicate a British high tea party, complete with oversize white doily decals and a color palette of pastel pink, blue and mint. The fitting room walls will feature specially designed tea tin-printed wallpaper and the light fixtures suspended from the ceiling will be tiered cake-stands. The cash register area will offer a collection of knitted cakes and sandwiches in wooden trays.
The store will offer men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. During the opening weekend, customers will be offered gifts with purchase and other themed giveaways.
In October, Ted Baker opened a store in the Ala Moana shopping center in Honolulu. The brand operates over 20 stores in the U.S.
