Ted Baker London will open a store in Miami Beach, Fla., on Jan. 16.
The 1,743-square-foot unit will be located at 1111 Lincoln Road, a new project that will offer 40,000 square feet of retail space as well as residences and a 300-space parking garage.
The store’s design draws inspiration from Miami’s Art Deco architecture and will include kitschy cocktails, cocktail umbrellas and images of British beach huts on the wall that look as if they were being viewed through a tumbler glass. There will also be a 16-window facade within the interior that illustrates a Miami sunset, and the fitting rooms will feature Art Deco-style posters of British sensibilites in Miami Beach.
The store will carry the brand’s men’s, women’s and accessories spring collections.
This will mark Ted Baker’s 20th full-priced store in North America. The brand also has 48 concession shops in Bloomingdale’s as well as six outlet stores. It operates more than 300 shops and concessions globally.
