LONDON — Topshop is set to open two more stores in Hong Kong this summer, one of which will house the first Topman space in the region.
The U.K. retailer will open locations in Admiralty and Causeway Bay, and, like its first store, which opened last year in Queen’s Road Central, the spaces will be in partnership with Lane Crawford’s Lab Concept. The 6,300-square-foot Topshop-Topman Admiralty store will open July 10 and offer a “more curated” selection of Topshop collections, the retailer said, while it will also showcase
a “best of edit” of Topman collections. The Causeway Bay store will open Aug. 14 on the fifth floor of the Times Square mall. The space will span 4,700 square feet and offer all key Topshop collections, the retailer said.
Sir Philip Green, Topshop’s owner, said: “We are very pleased with the success of Topshop in Hong Kong and are keen to see Topman develop in the same way. This is a very exciting year for the continued international growth of the brands, with expansion planned across every continent.”
Andrew Keith, president of Lane Crawford, added: “We launched Topshop just a year ago and it continues to perform beyond expectation.” He noted that regarding the Topman launch, there is a “growing appetite for men’s contemporary fashion in greater China.”
