Handbag designer Danielle DiFerdinando of the Danielle Nicole brand is getting a shot at fast fashion, British style.
DiFerdinando is partnering with the U.K.’s Topshop on twin pop-up shops opening Feb. 28 and running eight weeks inside Topshop on Oxford Street in London and in Manhattan’s SoHo. The pop-ups will sell spring merchandise inspired by tropical Caribbean vibes, including clutches, multicompartment crossbody bags, mini bucket bags and mini satchels. The hardware, laser-cuts and vivid colors including neon pink, purple and orange, are apropos to Topshop’s edgy attitude. “The Oxford Street and SoHo New York flagship stores attract a contemporary, trend-driven fashion clientele from all over the world. Having shops within the stores is a great way to test new product and broaden our exposure,” said DiFerdinando, who is known for classic styling with modern details. “Each location will have 38 stockkeeping units of our top spring styles,” with prices from $35 to $88.
Danielle Nicole products are sold at Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue in Mexico City, Nasty Gal, Fred Segal, Macy’s, HSN, Von Maur and El Cortes Inglés in Spain.
