Vineyard Vines has created its first mobile app to capitalize on the holiday shopping season.

The Connecticut-based apparel brand has teamed with mobile technology platform PredictSpring to offer consumers a holiday gift guide, shoppable Instagram feed and 3-D touch functions on the app. The gift guide offers the company’s top gift ideas for the season, the shoppable Instagram feed includes a Buy button so consumers can immediately purchase items and the 3-D touch allows users to tap or press the app icon to access the menu, shopping capability, store locator and other features.

The app also features notifications of in-store promotions, and alerts customers of nearby Vineyard Vines locations, offers a touch ID so no password is needed and app-indexing for fast Web searches.

“PredictSpring has been a valuable partner in helping us create a native app that caters to our mobile-savvy shopper, while also enabling ‘Buy’ buttons on social media content with Shop the Look feature,” said Ian Murray, cochief executive officer and cofounder of Vineyard Vines.

The app is free for iPhone and Android devices.
