Westfield Corp. said Monday that it has named Heather Vandenberghe as U.S. chief marketing officer.

Vandenberghe, who previously ran her own consulting firm, Vandenberghe and Co., will be based in Los Angeles and will be responsible for the marketing of Westfield’s more than 30 U.S. properties, including the upcoming Westfield World Trade Center, Century City in Los Angeles, San Francisco Centre, and Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J.

Vandenberghe will also oversee the positioning of the Westfield brand, directing the national marketing team and ensuring an exceptional experience for consumers by working with retailers to drive their businesses forward. In addition, Vandenberghe will oversee all advertising and digital marketing campaigns with the goal of highlighting the unique Westfield experience.

Prior to launching her consulting firm, Vandenberghe spent three years as executive vice president of marketing and communications at Tommy Hilfiger, where her responsibilities included advertising, marketing, public relations and events. Before that, Vandenberghe spent a decade at Louis Vuitton, North America, overseeing brand marketing and communications, including spearheading the brand’s first steps into the digital realm.
