MILAN — The Ermenegildo Zegna Group and its women’s brand Agnona are fleshing out their human resources teams. Agnona has named Natalina Stercoli collection director and Paola Properzi Curti commercial director, effective Monday. They will both report directly to chief executive officer Alessandra Carra.

The appointments are in line with the brand’s international expansion. Stercoli previously held the same role at Miu Miu and, before that, at Jil Sander. She will work with creative director Stefano Pilati.
 
Properzi Curti was previously Emilio Pucci’s commercial director. Prior to that post, she held the same role at Valentino, Roberto Cavalli and Versace. She will be in charge of both the wholesale market and the development and management of direct stores.
 
Additionally,  Zegna’s communication has been divided into two functions — fashion and corporate, both reporting to the group’s chief marketing officer Antonio Burrello.
 
Andreas Bergbaur has been tapped as fashion communication director. Most recently, he directed digital marketing and communication at fashion and luxury e-tailer The Level Group. Before that, he worked at Jil Sander and Versace. Bergbaur will be in charge of fashion public relations, both for Ermenegildo Zegna and Z Zegna. In particular, he will be in charge of Pilati’s PR activities and the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture collection.
 
Giulia Pessina, the acting PR director of Ermenegildo Zegna since 2011, has been appointed corporate communication director and will be dedicated to the group’s institutional communications. She will also coordinate all chief executive office and chairman public relations, all public non-fashion product related activities, all group events including the store openings and the group’s Corporate Social Responsibility, and will coordinate all projects related to Fondazione Zegna, Zegna Art, Casa Zegna  and Oasi Zegna.
