Archroma, a Swiss color and specialty chemical company, released its latest advanced water repellency product for activewear and gear: Smartrepel Hydro AM, which is a “universal” water repellent protection agent that “boosts” durability for fabrics.
Smartrepel Hydro AM is part of the Smartrepel series, a biodegradable, micro-encapsulated, non-PFC based durable and water-repellent range. The series supports the adoption of sustainable materials and processes by brands and textile manufacturers, particularly for initiatives such as eco-label standards Oeko-Tex and Bluesign, or the OZDHC program, according to the firm.
