“I thought this would be a warehouse. All the shows have been in a warehouse. I’m like, ‘What is this sparkly place?’” marveled Beth Ditto as she arrived at Stella McCartney’s after-show party, held in its regular venue, a kitsch mirrored cabaret on the Left Bank. Having spent the afternoon shooting yet another cover, this time for Liberation Next magazine, Ditto was ready to dance, later seen piggybacking a friend to the dance floor. As Pedro Winter and Jefferson Hack played Eighties old-school tunes, guests including Rachel Zoe and Kanye West partied with McCartney. Anouck Lepere waltzed in wearing a printed catsuit by Belgian designer Christian Wijnants. “Stella is all about nature, so I put on my nature outfit,” she purred. Model and actress Dree Hemingway, great granddaughter of Ernest, said she was heading back to New York with a less than natural eyebrow color after walking exclusively for Givenchy. “They dyed them white, then I reacted so they went orange and then they dyed them way darker. I keep getting a shock in the mirror,” she said.

Speaking of Ditto, the singer has gone to so many Paris fashion shows she should easily recognize half the audience when her band, The Gossip, takes the stage tonight at the VIP Room in Paris for the latest incarnation of the Fendi O’ pop-up nightclub. Also in the lineup is British television presenter Alexa Chung, who is slated to DJ for guests expected to include Bernard Arnault, Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Fendi, Kate Moss, Virginie Ledoyen, Jade Jagger and Milla Jovovich.
