Moncler boss Remo Ruffini and the label’s Gamme Rouge creative director Giambattista Valli rounded up the fashion flock for one last fling Wednesday night at Caviar Kaspia. Andrea Casiraghi, Lou Doillon, Eugenie Niarchos, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Sasha Pivovarova, Jessica Stam, Natalia Vodianova and Delfina Delettrez nibbled caviar-coated potatoes and sipped pepper vodka.
“What do you think that is?” said Elettra Wiedemann, pointing to a caldron of melted butter. Wiedemann, who’s wrapping up her master’s degree at the London School of Economics, said she is still mapping out her career path. “It’s fun to be able to say I have no idea what country I am going to live in next,” she said, showing off a Giambattista Valli dress fresh from the runway. “I saw it go by and thought that must be mine.”
Designers, models and executives alike were all looking forward to putting their feet up after the chockablock fashion season. “I am an excellent skier,” said Valli, posing for a snap with Karolina Kurkova.
Meanwhile, Ruffini said he is eager to head to Saint Moritz for a little R&R. But don’t expect the business tycoon to sport a brand-new Moncler puffer on the slopes. He prefers a vintage ski number, for sentimental reasons. “I’ve worn the same thing for years,” he said.
