Trussardi’s latest fragrance is good enough to eat. The Italian fashion house enlisted Michelin star chef Andrea Berton to whip up a gourmet feast using ingredients from Essenza del Tempo (Essence of Time), its new women’s scent. Berton, who presides over the fashion house’s Milan restaurant Trussardi Alla Scala, concocted four dishes he served at an exclusive dinner for the fragrance’s launch, including a risotto garnished with delicate iris blooms and, for dessert, a glass-like sphere made with sugar and balsamic vinegar and filled with a café mousse. Berton’s hit dish, an entrée of amber jack fish marinated in ginger and bergamot served with pureed salad leaves, referenced Essenza del Tempo’s key top notes.
