“This is the like the parties people used to have,” said Fabiola Beracasa as she walked into Calvin Klein’s huge after-party Thursday night. The bash, held in a building on Little West 12th that was formerly owned by Robert Isabell, certainly did resemble the kind of free-for-all, end-of-fashion-week affairs the brand threw a few years back. There were low, white couches lining the walls of the cavernous second-floor studio, scores of handsome waiters proferring truffle pasta and Champagne, and about 300 guests, which is the biggest crowd a party’s drawn this season.
Heartthrobs Kellan Lutz, Andrew Skarsgard, and Robert Buckley joined starlets Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington, Isabel Lucas and Naomi Watts who all sat front row at the Calvin show a few hours earlier.
One person who wasn’t granted entry, however, was Angelina Pivarnick, better known as “the girl who left the ‘Jersey Shore.’” Pivarnick showed up with a group of very tan and very gelled males and gave her name to the staff at the door. When she was denied admittance, she said she was going to call one of her friends to fix the situation. “Who is she going to call? Snooki?” snickered an onlooker.
