Bojana Panic’s acting career is barely off the ground, and already she’s landed a part in a movie starring Kristin Scott Thomas. “My favorite moment was the first day of shooting, getting to know all the crew,” the 22-year-old Serbian beauty says of the upcoming Largo Winch, a $39 million comic book thriller. Of course, Panic’s first film role wasn’t anything to scoff at, either. She appeared opposite Gaspard Ulliel (Hannibal Rising) in the French film, Jacquou le croquant (Jacquou Crunching It).
CASTING OFF: The camaraderie on the set of Largo Winch made for good movie-making, but also for a fun wrap party. Says Panic: “We had such a great knees-up [drinking party] on the last night of filming in an open-air restaurant in Sicily.”
FEED ME: In Panic’s native Belgrade, she says, they eat “tons of fish, but my favorite dish is a type of goulash made from beef and beans.”
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: “I’m mad about fashion. For fall, I have this great black Dior coat with a swirly skirt. I also have a shoe fetish, particularly for classic French brands such as Yves Saint Laurent.”
BOND BOUND?: Panic recently auditioned for a role in the next James Bond movie. “Every woman would dream to play a Bond girl,” she says. Panic calls it a tie between Sean Connery and Daniel Craig as her favorite incarnation of the spy.
BEAUTY TIP: The sultry rising star is said to have picked up a campaign with an undisclosed beauty brand. Could her front-row appearance at the Dior show in October be a clue?
