RED ALERT: Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly and Irina Shayk were among L’Oréal Paris ambassadors who flocked to the Red Obsession Party in the City of Light on Tuesday night.
The bash, held in a stately Right Bank mansion, was to celebrate the color red, the brand’s new Paris Fashion Week sponsorship and the premiere of a red-themed film by Bruno Aveillan.
“We want to celebrate tonight our makeup authority in one of the best areas to express makeup, which is color,” said L’Oréal Paris president Cyril Chapuy. “A red lipstick for women is the absolute symbol of makeup. So this is basically a party to honor lipstick, makeup and women on International Women’s Day.”
Revelers thronged into the many rooms and danced to a performance by Anderson Paak, plus DJ sets mixed by L’Oréal Paris spokesmodel Soo Joo Park and Miss Honey Dijon.
Pat Cleveland was making the rounds with her model daughter Anna. When asked if she has beauty secrets to share, Cleveland said: “Yes, stay healthy!”
Shayk, who had already walked a number of Paris Fashion Week catwalks this season, divulged a beauty tip handed down from her great-grandmother.
“She always told me when you wake up in the morning and you feel like you have a swollen face, you should always take a cube of ice from your fridge and rub it [on],” said the model, who was at the party with boyfriend Bradley Cooper and gearing up for a shoot with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles.
Kloss had no hesitation in coming up with advice on ways to stay beautiful: “Have good friends, surround yourself with good people and laugh a lot. I think that keeps you happy and young.”
She also shared a favorite Paris must-do. “I always make a trip to Angelina’s for that melted chocolate bar of a hot chocolate,” Kloss said.
For her part, Liya Kebede enjoys simply walking the streets. While in town this trip — other than modeling in and attending some shows — she was working on her Lemlem artisanal clothing collection, which was being displayed in a Paris showroom.
Other guests at the party included Eva Longoria, Lewis Hamilton, François-Henri Pinault and Marc Menesguen.
