On Thursday night, the fashion set descended on Bar Nana in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District for a fund-raiser to benefit Project Nathanael.

Hosted by InStyle’s Ariel Foxman and his fiancée Brandon Cardet-Hernandez, the bash raised over $25,000, which will go toward funding Institutive Nathanael in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Founded in 2007 by Cardet-Hernandez and a team of educators, the co-ed school currently supports 300 students, 12 teachers, and offers a full lunch program.

“Every single dollars goes to the school,” said Cardet-Hernandez, who noted that it costs $40,000 to fund the school for a year. “We go and do professional development for the teachers, we fully fund the school and the staff. We want people to know about the work, and definitely if they’re interested possibly connect whatever resources they have to our school.”

Prabal Gurung, Keren Craig, Jason Wu, John Targon and a host of fashion editors came out to support the cause, sipping on cocktails crafted by liquor sponsor Svedka and entering their names for one of the night’s many raffle prizes.

“My eldest daughter is just about to start kindergarten, so for me I know how important it is to have a great school. I think its a basic natural right and need,” said Craig. “For a child to feel safe and warm, and to be given a warm meal and be educated. It’s so important.”
