The Duchess of Cambridge worked a low-key look as she boarded a plane at Yellowknife in Canada’s remote Northwest Territories Wednesday. Kate wore the same Smythe navy blazer she sported when she left the U.K., with a ruffled cream silk blouse, J. Brand skinny jeans and her faithful L.K. Bennett wedge-heeled espadrilles for her departure. The royal couple were en route to Slave Lake, Alberta, where they were set to meet rescue workers and families who were affected by recent wildfires in the region.

And on Tuesday evening, the couple was given glittering souvenirs of its tour. The Northwest Territories’ Premier Floyd K. Roland presented the royals with jewelry made from diamonds mined in the territory, which were donated and designed by Harry Winston. Kate was given a pavé diamond brooch in the shape of a polar bear, while William received diamond cuff links, also in a polar bear design, to reflect the logo of the Northwest Territories’ Government.
