Hey, is that underage Lauren Bush with a bottle of Cristal in her hand? The 17-year-old model (aka the First Lady of Tommy Hilfiger) christened the “Tommy Hilfiger Freedom America” yacht with not one but two bottles of bubbly at Chelsea Piers on Tuesday. (The redo was photo-op driven.)

“I hope it’s not bad luck,” joked Bush after Hilfiger took her and fellow spokesmodels Jason Shaw and Jeremy Bloom for a spin in the harbor. Hilfiger plans to enter the 50-foot boat in the 2002-03 “Around Alone” yacht race, a 27,000-mile, nine-month sailing race that circumnavigates the globe.

Although Bush spends her summers in the sailing paradise of Maine, she said that motorboats and their accompanying watersports are really more her thing.

“Ultimate tubing and wakeboarding,” vouched Bush. “And even just jumping in the water.””
