There’s a new tagging trend going around on Instagram. Spearheaded by Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg, the #LeanInTogether campaign aims to promote gender equality by prompting women to recognize and celebrate the women who have inspired and helped them get where they are. A clutch of famous faces — Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Emma Watson, Serena Williams, Blake Lively, Ashley Graham, Eva Longoria, Victoria Beckham and Kristen Bell among them — have posted videos and images to their accounts with shout-outs to specific women in their lives. It’s like a more elaborate, feel-good version of Follow Friday.

Watson posted a trailer for the campaign on her account yesterday.

Gomez shared a video clip of her personal team backstage. “I wouldn’t be here without my team — thank you for always having my back. When women support each other, we accomplish amazing things. Celebrate the women who #LeanInTogether with you.”

Blake Lively posted a photo of herself with Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn. “Not just my friends, but my sisters, my mentors, my inspiration — Artists, poets, activists, women. We can and do empower each other,” she commented.

Lena Dunham gave a shout-out to fellow actress Emma Watson. “Emma, your commitment to activism every day is inspiring. I’m so proud to stand beside you as your friend, and stand up for gender equality.”
