When Kanye West unveiled Yeezy Season 3 on Thursday at a Madison Square Garden packed with celebrities, he likely expected them to dance in their seats and promote it on their social handles. What he likely did not expect was for several big names to abruptly get up and exit the show — and then take to their accounts to blast him. But such is the case when you cross Taylor Swift, it would seem.

At some point throughout the more than two-hour extravaganza, West premiered his track “Famous,” which includes the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why, I made that bitch famous/G-d d–n/I made that bitch famous,” harkening back to his slighting the pop star at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
Jaime King, one of many notables at MSG, got up and left when she heard the lyrics and took to her Twitter account to comment, “I’m so sad right now & disappointed right now. I stand by my sister. Always.” Swift is the godmother to King’s son Leo.
On Friday, King was seated front row at Jason Wu for his fall show. “Umm…I…don’t really want to…no comment,” she began, when asked about her reaction to Yeezy, before saying, “I enjoyed it up until certain moments.” Safe to assume she won’t be streaming the album anytime soon.
King wasn’t the only Swift pal who reacted on social media. Gigi Hadid — who’s practically a relative of West’s and who was also in attendance — posted on Twitter, “My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty.”
