The Chinese actress Liu Shishi was married over the weekend in Bali to actor Nicholas Wu, in a custom Carven creation. The brand’s creative directors Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud shared photos on their Instagram accounts as well, with Martial thanking “all the Carven team who worked with passion.” Caillaudaud posted a photo of the Carven label inside the gown, which has Shishi’s name in blue stitching. “So proud to have created this #wedding dress,” he wrote.

Martial and Caillaudaud were appointed to the brand in March of 2015, after Guillaume Henry decamped in 2014 for Nina Ricci, following Peter Copping’s move from Ricci to Oscar de la Renta. Martial came from Iceberg and Caillaudaud was at Givenchy.

Shishi, 29, is also known by her English name, Cecilia Liu. She and Wu, 45, were costars in the TV series “Scarlet Heart.” Though this weekend marked their ceremony, they were legally wed in January 0f 2015. Her most recent project was 2014’s “Five Minutes to Tomorrow.” Nicholas “Nicky” Wu is a Taiwanese actor and singer — he rose to fame in the Nineties boy band Xiao Hu Dui, or the Little Tiger. His former bandmates Alec Su and Julian Chen were in attendance at the nuptials in Bali.

Clearly a fan of the house, last week the actress posed with Martial and Caillaudaud at the brand’s opening in Hong Kong.
