In light of Tuesday’s deadly attacks in Brussels, Warner Bros. has canceled the red carpet press interview portion of the London premiere of their new blockbuster, “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” though the premiere screening is continuing on as planned.
The film company said, “Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world. Rather than yield to terror, we’ve decided to join the film’s fans and move forward with the London premiere of ‘Batman v. Superman’ this evening.”
The film is premiering Tuesday evening in London at Leicester Square. It opened in New York on Sunday, drawing stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, and Tao Okamoto.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Affleck as Batman, Cavill as Superman, and Gadot as Wonder Woman. It opens for U.S. audiences on Friday.
