“I’d love some water,” said a defiant Marc Newson at Moet & Chandon’s Champagne bash for Scarlett Johansson in London Tuesday night. Newson joined guests including Eva Herzigova, Thandie Newton, Alice Dellal, Henry Holland, Rachel Stevens, and Jefferson Hack – who later DJ’d – to celebrate Johansson’s role as the brand’s new muse. “It’s very surreal,” said the Sixties pop star Cilla Black of the party’s décor: Large-scale projections of clips from Busby Berkeley films and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” flickered over the white walls of Big Sky Studios in North London as guests crunched on mini toffee and walnut ice-cream cones and popcorn from paper bags.
