On Wednesday night, the New York City Ballet held its spring gala at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch theatre with a mix of true balletomanes including Deeda Blair, Nina Griscom and Fe Fendi, as well as event newbies like Ed Norton, Sean Avery and DJ Sam Ronson. “We are bridging the generation gap,” explained NYCB board member Lisa Maria Falcone, who wrangled Ronson for the event.

“This isn’t what I’m used to,” admitted Ronson, who spun everything from Phil Collins to Beyoncé.
