To better serve its retail accounts, Canada Goose Inc., the Toronto-based manufacturer of extreme weather outerwear and premium outerwear, has opened a U.S. headquarters in Denver, in historic Larimer Square.

“Denver is the gateway to the mountains and a major hub of the outdoor industry,” said Ian Widmer, director of U.S. sales.  “Together with a new team and agency strategy in place, this office allows us to not only showcase our products, but also give our customers an opportunity to experience an environment that truly embodies the Canada Goose culture.”

Canada Goose has gained momentum in the U.S. as the official outerwear sponsor of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, the first Canadian member of the Conservation Alliance, and with model Kate Upton wearing a white fur-trimmed jacket on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, which was shot in Antarctica. Retail accounts include Gorsuch, Moosejaw, Backcountry.com, The Tannery, Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
