Commando is making its way into the active category.

The innerwear brand, which celebrated its 10th year in business last year, will introduce its active range this May.

“We knew women loved working out in our underwear, but we wanted to push it even further in our activewear collection and amp up the technical features while still delivering on comfort,” said Kerry O’Brien, Commando’s founder. “If you’re thinking about your underwear, you’re in the wrong underwear, and that’s never truer than when you’re exercising.”

The collection includes a compression sports bra, a soft sports bra, a bikini and thong. The pieces are made from stretch fabric that is fast-drying and moisture-wicking. Select styles are also perforated for breathability. The bottoms feature raw-cut edges, a Commando signature. The line will retail from $22 to $68. It will be sold on Commando’s e-commerce site along with Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom.
