To celebrate National Hugging Day on Jan. 21, Cuddl Duds, which are layering pieces for exercise and other activities, will launch #CuddlHug, a campaign hosted on the brand’s social platforms to raise funds for K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers.

Beginning Jan. 21, Cuddl Duds will post a “CuddlHug” photo on Facebook (facebook.com/cuddlduds) and Twitter (@CuddlDuds). Each share of the photo on Facebook or retweet of the photo on Twitter will generate a $1 donation from Cuddl Duds to K.I.D.S./Fashion delivers (up to $20,000) between Jan. 21 and Jan. 23.

“The Cuddl Duds official brand logo is our ‘Huggie’ mark. The mark was created to capture the feelings of warmth, comfort and delight that a hug can give you,” said Mark Sandler, president of Komar Layering. “We thought it was a logical extension of our brand identity to join in the spirit of National Hugging Day this year by offering a fun, feel-good campaign focusing on the comfort of a hug and giving back.” Cuddl Duds is a Komar Layering brand, which is a division of Komar.

Individuals who share the photo on Facebook or retweet the photo on Twitter from Jan. 21 to Jan. 23 will also be automatically entered into a chance to win $500 worth of Cuddl Duds warm layers.  One winner will be chosen at random from all the entries.

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, a nonprofit organization, provides new merchandise to children, families and people impacted by poverty and tragedy.
