LONDON — French swimwear and lingerie brand Eres has opened its first stand-alone store in London and has launched its first e-commerce site, eresparis.com.
The store, on Motcomb Street in Belgravia, spans 540 square feet and stocks swimwear, beachwear, lingerie and casual luxury items such as cashmere wraps and down-filled silk robes.
“We now have 22 stand-alone stores. We’ve doubled our number of boutiques in the past two years,” said Olivier Mauny, chief executive officer of the brand. “And next, we’re ready to open in Barcelona.” That store will be 648 square feet.
The London store, in the former Mathaf art gallery, was designed by Georges Rabineau, the interior decorator who created the concept stores for Eres for the past 10 years.
Mauny said Eres would continue to wholesale the collections in the U.K. through stockists including Harrods and Heidi Klein.
