Gossard is expanding into the U.S. market. The U.K.-based intimate apparel brand has joined U.S. sales agent Easton International in order to grow its presence in the U.S.
Gossard, which is currently sold in the U.S. at Bare Necessities and Her Room, held an event earlier in the year to introduce the brand to buyers, distributors and press. Elise Recour, general manager of Gossard, said that because of the positive response from the event and the product, teaming up with Easton was the next natural step.
Gossard is best known for its popular Glossies range, which features bras and underwear made from a unique sheer fabric that’s invisible under clothes. According to Recour, Gossard will bring Glossies to the U.S. market along with the Gypsy and Superboost Lace ranges, which she believes represent a new and unique product within the U.S.
Gossard bras retail around $50, corsets and slips are priced at $150 and its underwear retails around $40.
