Kate Hudson is turning her attention to the men’s active category.
The actress, who collaborated with online retailer JustFab to launch women’s active brand Fabletics in 2013, is expanding into men’s with FL2.
Oliver Hudson, an actor and Kate Hudson’s brother, will serve as spokesman for the new brand, which will be unveiled at a private event in New York City on Thursday.
“We designed FL2 with the modern man in mind,” said Kate Hudson. “My brother, Oliver, was my go-to for style and function feedback. As an athlete and father of three, Oliver embodies the man we’re designing for; it made perfect sense for him to be the face of the brand.”
The collection consists of lifestyle pieces such as hooded vests, slim-fit performance sweatpants, shorts, tanks and T-shirts that can also be worn outside of the gym. The line is includes four-way stretch and UPF fabric, which protects skin against sun exposure, and moisture-release technology. Every item in the line is priced under $100. Tops start at $29.95 and bottoms start at $44.95.
FL2 will release new styles each month. The pieces can be purchased as a complete set, in bundles or individually.
