La Perla will launch its first luxury bridal collection in November.
Consisting of five groups designed to create a complete bridal trousseau in white and ivory, the collection will retail from $74 for a garter to $649 for a lace robe.
Distribution is aimed at 10 La Perla boutiques in the U.S. and laperla.com at first, and will then be expanded to select Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus stores in February. Global distribution will follow.
First-year wholesale sales in North America are projected to reach $500,000, said Suzy Biszantz, chief executive officer of La Perla North America.
Biszantz said La Perla’s customer base has “long been looking” for bridal fare.
