On Gossamer is expanding its offering. The innerwear brand, which is owned by Komar, will introduce a loungewear line called On Gossamer Livingwear.
The collection, which will launch at Nordstrom.com and Amazon.com later this month, includes pieces that can be worn for day and night. The assortment is made up of scarves, chemises, a long slipdress, a lace camisole and matching brief, a T-shirt with a bateau neckline and two cropped pant styles. Pieces are made from mostly cotton, jersey and modal. The line retails from around $28 for a scarf to $78 for the long slipdress.
“We bring an elevated sense of leisure using fabrics that are irresistible to the touch,” said Tina Wilson, the vice president of design for On Gossamer Livingwear, when asked what On Gossamer brings to the rapidly expanding loungewear market. “We call it livingwear because it has a place in a woman’s everyday life.”
According to Wilson, On Gossamer plans to expand the collection by introducing new cotton fabrics; more accent scarves, which she said have had a great response, and more integration with the brand’s intimate apparel line.
