Parker, the contemporary apparel brand, wants a piece of the beachwear action.

The company has launched a new collection called Parker Beach, which is designed to take its customer from the beach to the bar.

The first assortment, which ships to stores in November, is comprised of three cover-up silhouettes featuring signature Parker detailing in print, color and embellishment. They consist of The Playa, which is linen and viscose and wholesales for $70; the Palm, which is linen and cotton and also wholesales for $70, and the Sunset, which is beaded and 100 percent viscose, and wholesales for $79. The cover-ups come in extra small/small and medium/large.
