The 32nd annual SwimShow in Miami just got bigger and there will be lots of mileage to cover at the Miami Beach Convention Center, where the trade fair will be ensconced in 550,000 square feet of the center’s four great halls.
With the support of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority, the July 19 to July 22 trade fair will showcase the top swimwear brands and designers from across the globe.
More than 8,500 attendees from 60 countries attended last year’s venue, which added over 150,000 square feet to meet demand for interest in new brands, designers and innovative ideas for swimwear and beachwear. The addition of another 150,000 square feet to this year’s show reflects the strength and growth of both the industry as a whole and the SwimShow as a venue for brands to introduce new collections, said show organizer Judy Stein.
“Every year, the excitement and anticipation continues to build for the world’s most successful swim event, and this year is going to be amazing,” said Stein. “With more exhibition space, more outstanding brands, more special events, more top-notch designers and more wonderful attendees, we are looking forward to the best show yet this summer.”
In addition to an ongoing exhibition center, special events this year will include seminars on the latest swimwear and lifestyle trends, a Swim Lounge Happy Hour, a fashion show and an after party. There will also be a daily breakfast bar, and an English high-tea service every afternoon where exhibitors and retailers can network.
Among the roster of designer brands exhibiting at the show will be Lauren Ralph Lauren, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore, Badgley Mischka, Tory Burch, Trina Turk, Dsquared2 and BCBG Max Azria.
Other top fashion brands will include Gottex, A.Che, Agua Bendita, Agua de Coco, ále by Alessandra, Amuse, Angel & Miosotti, Ank, Anna Kosturova, Barraca Chic, Beach Bunny, Cecilia Prado Mare, Cia Maritima, Dfly, Eberjey, Gypsy 05, Jen’s Pirate Booty, L*Space, Lenny Niemeyer, LeSwim, Magaschoni, Maryan Mehlhorn, Melissa Odabash, Meskita, Mink Pink, OndadeMar, Robyn Lawley, Seafolly, Shoshanna, Vitamin A and Wildfox.
The Swimwear Association of Florida produces and organizes SwimShow, the longest-running and largest annual swimwear trade show in the world.
