The Levi’s brand has tapped Laurie Etheridge as senior vice president of women’s merchandising and design, a new position, with responsibility for overseeing all women’s product categories globally. An announcement is expected later today.
Previously, merchandise and design teams were segmented by region but Levi Strauss & Co. has turned to a global management model. Etheridge reports to Robert Hanson, president of the global Levi’s brand.
Etheridge comes to Levi’s from Perry Ellis International, where she leads merchandising and design for women’s global fashion brands including Jantzen, Jag, Perry Ellis and Southpoint.
